Discussion Questions

1. What is one of your favorite qualities of St. Francis of Assisi?
2. Reflect on these words of Jesus: "I did not come to be served, but to serve" (Matt 20:28)
3. Pope Francis has described his approach to leadership as patterning after that modelled by St. Francis. He quotes St. Francis' words: " “Because I am the servant of all, (in Latin, ‘servus omnium’) I am obliged to serve all and to administer the fragrant words of my Lord to them.” How is God inviting you to serve, in areas where you have authority?
4. Think about a challenging leadership problem and ask for the Wisdom of the Holy Spirit to gain insight in how to love, and lead well in that situation.
