Description

Michael May was born in Mobile, Alabama to a devout Catholic mother and agnostic father. Michael was raised in Westchester county (White Plains and Elmsford) New York. It was in the fall of 2000 during a Cursillo retreat in San Diego, California when Michael decided to heed Jesus’s call to ‘repent and believe in the Gospel’. Michael’s Journey since then has been extraordinary, having had many encounters with the love and mercy of Jesus in his ordinary life. Michael, his wife, and their three children are all parishioners at St. Michael’s Church, in Rancho Bernardo California.

2. In what ways is "mercy" more than just forgiveness, but also Charity in action?
3. Jesus taught in the Sermon on the Mount: "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy" (Matt 5:7). What stands out to you about this passage?
4. reflect on the following Scripture, concerning the free gift of Mercy by God: "So let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and to find grace for timely help." (Hebrews 4:16)
